tests are bad for health!
I'm so so relieved that the tests are over! for the past week, i hardly slept more than 3 hours per day. When I was supposed to catch up with my beauty sleep after the last paper yest, I had to go to AH to re-make my retainers! Apparently, the part-time maid thought it was some plastic and threw it away. As I didn't had an appointment, I waited 3 hours before they were finally able to squeeze me into the busy schedule. :( Let me describe the steps for those are interested.
1) Lie down
2) Open my mouth
3) Dentist inserts a plastic mould filled with a chewing gum-like substance and press it against my teeth to get the shape.
4) Rinse my mouth
5) Bid farewell to the dentist after she instructed me to come back again the next day to collect it.
(Note: The above steps took no more than 5 minutes)
The interesting part: It costs $77!
Waited 3 hours for 5 minutes to pay $77. *Pounds chest*
Did I go home after that? No (of course). lol. I went shopping alone at Queensway Shopping Centre & IKEA. I don't know when it started but I'm starting to enjoy shopping alone. You can go to any shop, look at anything you want, at your own pace. The funny thing is, I always attract aunties. lol. I found a couple of aunties smiling to me in IKEA. I recall one incident vividly. I was looking at the $5 wooden blinds and was deciding whether to buy or not. I finally made up my mind to get it when 1 malay auntie walking towards me smiled to me and commented, "Aiyo this stuff, $5 also no one buy lah." lol. I didn't buy it the end. What if I saw that auntie at the cashier? haha.

Woke up at 10.30 (SO EARLY for a SAT!) today as I had to collect my retainers at 12. Dad and Mom drove me there. Went to get some new yr groceries after that. We spent $80+ at the supermarket! We were so shocked dad even asked me to double check the receipt. haha.

Went home to prepare and met up with dar and sis to go town after that. Me and sis made an appointment with Hollywoods Secrets for eyebrow trimming but we were 2 hours late. So, we decided to walk-in and try our luck. However, they didn't accept walk-ins as the entire shop was packed (with ladies)! 60% doing manicure, 35% eyebrow trimming, 5% others. Everyone wants to look good for CNY. :D
Sis went to meet mum at Bugis but I chose to continue shopping at Orchard with dar. Bought 3 tops and a skirt today! Total Damage: $129. >_< I haven't been keeping to my budget lately. I need to control! No more new clothes for the next 1 month!
Met up with Ah Tab and her sis at Cine to fill our stomachs after all the shopping. Tingting noticed the GAP bag and asked if I had bought it online. I never mention anything about the bag before. She got to know it through this blog! (Weeet. At least I know I do have visitors. lol. Other silent readers please tag me! Let me have a chance to thank you for visiting! Heez.)
Okay I'll stop now. Looks like my body is starting to protest. I'm starting to have the sore throat and flu symptoms. I'd better sleep! Being sick is the last thing I want to happen on CNY!
