A Pleasant Friday.
It's been quite some time since i updated my blog! Nope I wasn't busy studying during this break week. I simply kept myself busy by actively shopping in Yahoo Auctions! lol. I got myself 2 bags! Too bad my Nokia cable can't work, or I'd have posted the pics here. :p
I had a pleasant surprise for today's MEC paper. Before going in to the LT (Yes, our common tests are conducted in LTs), I was still in a very panic mood as I didn't manage to complete revision for all chapters (as usual :x). But when I saw the paper, I realised half of them were MCQ Questions much to my relief! lol. I think the lecturer announced this during lecture but I didn't notice, so I was the only suaku one around, grinning from ear to ear. Haha.
Went home after the test. Wanted to have a good rest but can't resist Dar's offer to go out. Heez. I feel like I'm already having the holiday mood though I still have 4 papers to go! We went to Orchard (again..), had dinner with Siangrui & Gary at Far East Plaza, then they left for Chinablack, so me and dar went shopping. I got 2 nice earrings from Future State (courtesy of Dar, heez).
I'm a happy girl. 2 earrings + 2 bags. =D nicole @

McSpicy Double + Double Chocolate w/whipped cream.
Yes that's what I had for dinner-cum-supper!
Change of plans at the last min. Suddenly, I just felt like going to West Coast Park's Mac instead of Breko. I like the place there, good ambience and decor, and more "rural" compared to the rowdy Holland V. However, I don't deny that both places are perfect spots for coffee sessions. The thing is, both are quite inaccessible from my place. =(
Met up with Ah-TAB (lol), Tingting and Mandy together with dar. I had a great time. Was finally able to unwind after a stressful week. I really enjoy coffee sessions like that, where you share jokes and talk about anything under the sun.
Oh and I saw Ann Poh (the famous well-endowed artiste who speaks with a Malaysian accent from ex-Channel U) there with her 2 daughters. She wore a baggy tee and 3/4 pants, no different from any auntie-next-door. Women's life really hard huh..out of 10, i think 8 will become huang-lian-po when they become mothers. *Sigh. I just hope that when my turn comes, I'll still be diligent enough to doll myself up, I don't wanna be an auntie!

Assignment completed!
Finally! I took 9 hours to complete the e-biz plan! Of course, the time includes snacking, gossiping, bathing, etc lol. It's certainly not quality work! But I'm proud of myself for being able to complete it before the deadline. Many a time I just wanted to ignore the assignment and enjoy my Saturday. Thank god I was disciplined enough to make myself stray from that idea! =D
With that, I'll enjoy my last 1 hour+ of my Sat! Off to Breko! nicole @
comfort eating
I always plunge into comfort eating whenever I feel stressed. I basically munch on everything I can see and reach.
The damage due to e-Biz Plan (latest figures):
- a XXL pot of fried rice (enough for 3 portions - meant for my dad and mom)
- 1 pack of grape gummy (finished in less than 5 min while thinking of the plan)
The worst part is, I don't feel full after all these. Does that mean that my brain isn't working? It's suppose to sense that I have ate alot and should send signals to my body that I am full so that I can stop eating.
OK. Whatever. Back to work.

on my way to a more balanced life.
Signed up for the Amore 3month package today! Though my wallet is screaming, I'm feeling quite excited..It's been so long since I last exercised! Will be shopping around for my sports attire before I attend the first lesson. I can't wait to attend the kickboxing and pilates classes! I wanna lead a more balanced life. I wanna be fit! :D
Though I've successfully submitted the long overdue assignment today, my heart's still not settled. I have another deadline to meet this Sat! I have been slogging ever since the sch term started. This sem is definately not fun at all. I long for my freedom. Can't wait for this sem to be over. *Sigh.
But for now, let's celebrate Hari Raya Haji and my long awaited break week! Ahh..finally!

Monday blues.
Pretty restless today but thanks to Suwoon, her nick in msn managed to perk me up a little:

Supposed to meet ting and angie after school to shop but in the end i cancelled it as i still have unfinished assignments. (I'm sorry!) In the end, I went to BBDC to get a form for BTT. Everyone around me have already started taking lessons, thus causing my inner kiasuism cells to act up. lol. I have yet to book a date for the test yet, as dar recommended that I book the date only when I've mastered the book, which I thought was a good idea as it would not add on to my stress level. Moreover, work is piling up again. I guess I have to wait till the mid term tests are over. nicole @

Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh..Square Rulessssss.
It's already 4am but I'm still pretty awake! I know I am supposed to sleep but I just felt like doing some online window shopping at Yahoo Auctions. I'm getting hooked! There are just so many things to view! LOL.
Oh ya, if you're looking at the title and wondering what it means, it's the chorus of an old retro song. I just got to know the lyrics today (thanks to Carine & Jessie). Yeah went clubbing at RAV after some un-fruitful shopping in town. *Sigh. I'm starting to panic; I have not got my new yr clothes! Okay back to RAV, I'm really glad I was able to let my hair down with my girls after a week of stress! But the bad thing about tonight was, it went blackout for 4 times! Music stopped suddenly when we were at the dancefloor and the DJ would repeat the song again when the electricity resumed..Quite terrible huh. -_-
One last thing before I go to bed, Life with straight teeth minus the braces is great! LOL. I feel so much more confident when I smile! And I don't have to worry about food getting stuck in btw the metals! =D

luo han..
my pet luo han's dying. we've had it since the luo han craze started a couple of years ago. i've never been "close" to it since i wasn't really interested in fishes but it's really sad to see it struggling. it's been a few days since it was sick and my dad tried to save it by adding in some blue solution. it seemed to work a little at first but its condition deterioriated again. my parents planned to set it free next morning. i wonder whether it's a good or bad thing to do? nicole @
a lil' piece of good news!
Since most of the editing is done for this blog, i shall post my non-official first post as i can't wait to share this piece of good news with everyone. by next morning at 10, i'll no longer wear the "tin grin"! YES! I'M REMOVING MY BRACES! Time flies, it's been with me for 1.5 years (since 13 June 2003 which was a Friday the 13th)!
Thinking back, (besides having to extract 8 tooth - but it's really worth it lah! :P),the process wasn't that bad after all, I didn't encounter any unbearable pain except some occasional soreness. However, watching my teeth aligned day by day was pretty interesting, I would stare into the mirror for hours observing the changes, and jumped in joy when my "vampire teeth" finally filled up the gap of the extracted tooth. LOL. Now, I am simply awaiting for 9am to arrive. I can't wait to see the dentist. I believe it'll be the best day since 2005 started. Heez. *Excited*
Oh yes if anyone reading this post ever had the intention to have ur teeth align, I urge you to go for it! It's not that scary and you'll never regret your decision. Do ask me for details ya? I'll be happy to help! :D
